TV Century 21 comic collection -
includes all Issues #1 thru #38 sold as a set (scroll to bottom to purchase)
TV 21 was an immensley popular British weekly comic that was launched in January 1965. Each issue contains various comic strips based on popular 1960's Gerry Anderson TV shows, such as Stingray, Supercar, Thunderbirds and Fireball XL5. There's also a "Dalek" comic strip from the popular Dr. Who BBC TV series. Wonderful artwork, with a color center section in each issue!
This collection starts with issue #1 and contains all of the issues, up to and including #38. This is sold as one lot of 38 issues plus the two "gifts" that came with #1 and #. We will not break up this valuable collection.
This sale includes the following "gifts" that came with certain issues:
1.)The Identicode badge/decoder from issue #1 (some foxing, rust on metal parts and original owner's photo and address inside -- see the photos)
2.) From issue #3 The Fireball XL5 pushout cardboard rocket, removed from sheet, but all parts are there (see photo)
Probaby the nicest condition TV21 issues that you'll find! Comics were stored flat in a controlled environment. Colors still bright and nice looking, pages are slightly off-white in color. Most are in very good shape, however one or two other comics have minor imperfections (see photos of all the comic covers in the slideshow below)
Notes: Issue #2 has light tape stain showing on the front cover. This is from the tape used on the inside to hold the "free gift (free gift is not included, just the card that held it to the comic); Another comic has the lower right corner torn off
We normally only ship within the 48 contiguous United States, however we can arrange shipping to the U.K. for an additional fee, please contact us before purchasing.
