Sigma 2X DG APO Tele Converter EX for Canon EOS mount

Used Sigma 2x EX DG teleconverter, for use with Sigma lenses on Canon EOS mount cameras.

The teleconverter is in top shape and working condition. It was lightly used, very well cared for, and is no longer needed because the owner bought a dedicated telephoto lens. Comes with original box, original zippered pouch for the converter, instruction booklet & both lens caps.

This converter doubles the strength of the lens to which it is attached. For example, a Sigma 70-200mm lens becomes the equivalent of a 140-400mm. It's a very handy accessory to carry along in your camera bag just in case you need the power of a telephoto lens!

This 2x teleconverter only works with some Sigma lenses, so be sure to check the compatability list at Sigma http://www.sigma-photo.co.jp/english/acc/condaitr.htm

Please be aware that there is a 2 f-stop loss when using this teleconverter. For the best telephoto photos you need to use a tripod, and/or a high shutter speed (ie.1/1000)  to compensate for any camera shake from the extreme magnification.
