History: In the 1960's Pick 'n Pay stores in the Cleveland area participated in the Eagle Stamp (green stamps) program. Shoppers would earn stamps at the time their orders were rung up based on the total retail dollar spent on groceries. The customer then pasted the stamps into booklets. When the booklets were filled, they could be redeemed at local May Company stores for $3 vouchers towards May Company merchandise.
