Don't let the simple design of this projector deceive you! This is similar to the famous Chinon line of projectors. With a husky DC motor, and smooth film transport, the speed is completely variable, allowing flicker free transfers with most video cameras! Our audio-visual; technician with over 20yrs experience, has refurbished this movie projector. Gears and all the moving parts have been carefully lubricated and adjusted for optimum performance. New rubber drive belt installed, new drive belt to the feed and take-up arms.Take-up and rewind tension has been properly set.

Film path has been thoroughly cleaned and adjusted as necessary. The film gate has a plastic pressure plate which allows gentle treatment of your precious films!

Condition: Used, in very good condition, one or two minor scuffs to the plastic case. One small crack in the back case has been repaired from the inside, and certainly doesn't affect operation in any way (see photos)  Nice clean optics, new drive belt, completely lubricated and thoroughly tested.

This is a dual eight projector.  It will play both super 8, single 8 and standard 8mm films. (see comparison photo below) Also, the hole in the center of a standard 8mm film reel will be about 1/4" diameter (super 8 reels have a 1/2" dia. hole).
